Distribution features and forming conditions of the springs in the south edge of Maowusu Desert of Nor thern Shanxi

陕北毛乌素沙漠南缘有诸多泉水出露，本文依据大量的实际勘探资料将其划分为四种类型，对不同类型泉水分布规律、泉水出露的微地貌条件和泉域含水层结构特征作了深入分析，探讨了各类泉水的补给条件及烧变岩破碎带的水文地质意义，从保护生态环境的角度提出不同类型泉水的合理开发利用建议。

There are many types of springs in south edge of Maowusu desert, northern Shanxi. Their distribution is controlled by micro geomorphologic conditions and aquifer distribution. The springs are classified into four types by the controlling conditions in the paper. Moreover, their distribution features and forming conditions are analyzed according field investigation. And the counter measures for ecological protection and spring utilization are suggested.
