社团、社团领袖与华人社会——以印尼棉兰市为个案的初步研究

Chinese Associations,Their Leadership and the Chinese Community——A Case Study of the Chinese in Medan of Indonesia

本文以笔者赴印尼棉兰华人社区的个案考察为依据,把棉兰华人社团、社团领袖按经济实力、社会活动能力做了划分,并就各层次的社团与社团领袖的关系,分析了棉兰华社的内部结构,以期探讨这一有特色的印尼华人社区。

Based on the field interview, this case study of Chinese community in Medan of Indonesia tries to classify the Chinese associations and their leadership according to their power in economy and public activities. The study analyzes the internal struchture of the distinctive Chinese community in Medan in terms of the relationship between Chinese association and their leadership at various levels. The study also tries to present a perspective on the future of the Chinese society in Indonesia.
