摘要
利用“八五”南沙群岛及其邻近海区综合科学考察获得的水文、气象、声学、光学等资料，应用国际上先进的微机数据库管理系统Foxpro2．5ForWindows，建立了适用于各有关专业特点所需要的专业数据库，并且设计和编制了专业数据库系统软件。此数据库系统具有直观性强、操作简便、灵活实用、安全性能好等特点。
A Physical oceanography database was set up using Foxpro 2.5 For Windows, the advanced micro-computer database management system, and the dare acquired from the scientific survey in the eighth five-year plan in Nansha Islands and their adjacent waters. System software of the database was designed and developed considering various subjects. The database has characteristics of friendly interface, easy operation and secure data.
