On the Evidences Available to Unravel the Mystery over Zhaxi Meeting

时至今日,直接记录扎西会议的文字材料还是没有找到,但从长征电文、长征日记、当事人回忆、权威结论等形成的证据链,证明扎西会议的召开,从组织上完成了中共中央主要领导人的更换;在思想上,通过《遵义会议决议》的传达,统一了全党全军的思想,极大地鼓舞了中央红军在毛泽东军事思想指引下突出重围、战胜敌人的决心和信心。扎西会议是遵义会议的发展,是党中央在关键时刻召开的关键会议,它在中共党史、军史中占有重要的地位和作用。

So far, although no official documents covering Zhaxi Meeting have been found, yet based on a host of such evidences as the telegrams and the diaries of Long March and the recounts of the person concerned as well as the authoritative conclusions being made, it is fair to say that the convening of Zhaxi Meeting successfully completed the reshuffle of the main leaders of the Central Communist Party. In terms of ideology, the passing and the implementation of The Decision of Zunyi Meeting reunited the ideology of the whole party and the army which greatly boosted the Red Army＇s determination and confidence to get through the predicament and defeat the enemy under the guidance of Chairman Mao＇s military thoughts. As the extension of Zunyi Meeting, Zhaxi Meeting was held at a critical moment by the Central Communist Party which plays an important role in the history of the Central Communist Party as well as the history of the army.
