地方公共物品供给对FDI影响的实证分析

An Empirical Analysis of the Effect of Local Public Goods Supply on FDI

以蒂布特模型的"用脚投票"理论为基础,利用中国30个省市1997～2005年的Panel Data建立Panel Data模型,实证分析各地区的地方公共物品供给对吸引FDI的影响,结果表明,地方公共物品的供给与FDI的吸引呈显著正相关,各地区公共物品供给差异是FDI区域分布差异的一个重要原因。

On the basis of Tiebout＇s theory of ＂voting by foot＂, and by making use of the panel data of 30 provinces and cities in China during 1998 and 2005, the paper sets up a panel data model and makes an empirical analysis of the influence of local public goods supply on attracting FDI. The results of the research show that the supply of local public goods is remarkably positively correlated with attracting FDI, and the differences of local public goods supply in different regions are one of the main reasons for the regional differences in FDI.
