Strengthening Biotechnology Specialty Construction and Providing Services for Local Economy Construction

生物技术专业是生物学领域1个新兴的本科专业,在适应高等教育面向经济建设主战场的形势下,1998年被正式列入教育部专业目录。对普通本科院校生物技术专业的专业建设、课程建设和教学改革以及适应当地经济建设的途径和方法进行了论述,为地方普通本科院校生物技术专业的实践提供一定的理论依据。

As a new undergraduate specialty in biology fields, biotechnology specialty was enlisted the specialty catalogue by the Ministry of Education in 1998, under the situation of higher education adapting to the main front of economic construction. Specialty construction, course construction, teaching reform, and the way and method suit the local economy construction of biotechnology specialty in undergraduate colleges were discussed, which provided theoretical basis for the practices of biotechnology specialty.
