An introduction was made on the process of a turbine generator unit disintegrating damage accident due to runaway and occurred at a small-scale hydropower station, based on which the author analyzed the causes from aspects of design, fabrication and operation, and put forward suggestions for the technical configuration of small-scale hydropower station.
