Since the 1980s the Free Form Arts Trust had been operating its ‘art at the neart’of urban regeneration projets from a myriad of small sites spread across London in its unique mission of providing services for the arts and the creative industries,Catering specifically to interventions in the built environment, this role has been all the more important in recent ears, with a number or ambitious regeneration plans scattered throughout the city, including the masslve re-conversions taking place in the future Olympic sites,it was a logical development that the Trust would eventually need to settle down in its own purpose-built space, conducive to the creative work involved in any of its projects,Hothouse the Trust's new home in Hackney,East London, provided an answer to that need, and is quickly becoming a creative cluster for arts design and architecture professionals working on public space interventions.
