Foundry Square is a 12 million square feet office and retail development that is located at the crossing of two major streets, First Street and Howard Street in San Francisco's South of Market district (SOMA) The goal was to provide a class A work environment featuring larger, more flexible floor plates than downtown office towers, raised floor systems with underfloor ventilation. All four corner parcets were commonly owned, providing a remarkable opportunity for creating a new urban space as the centergieoe for the development.
