This paper makes comprehensive review on the course of development of the DB ( DataBase) and DBMS (Data Base Management System) for the CAD of chemical technology, including its function, composition and development tendency. Using the method of software engineering authors develop a DBMS. Because of this,the DBMS is good at safeguarding,easy to operate,efficient and reliable.
