经颅磁刺激在癫痫研究中的应用

摘要 经颅磁刺激(transcranial magnetic stimulation,TMS)是在体外特定部位利用一定强度的时变磁场在生物体内诱发感应电流,并以此刺激兴奋组织的技术。该技术具有无创、无痛、操作简便和相对安全、廉价等优点,因而被广泛应用于研究大脑皮质神经元的兴奋、抑制功能,成为癫痫研究领域中一种引人注目的研究工具。它在癫痫研究中的应用主要包括:癫痫的致病机制、抗癫痫药的作用机制及疗效、脑功能区定位、致痫灶定位,更加振奋人心的是TMS有望成为一种治疗难治性癫痫的新疗法,这也是最近几年研究的热点。
