对潘岳,不可因其品行卑劣而简单否定之,不能把一个身处西晋复杂政治斗争漩涡中,地位脆弱的文人的追求和命运看得一成不变。《闲居赋》中流露的思闲心理同样是真实的。应取综合分析方法,把握历史分寸感。《文心雕龙》、《诗品》和《文选》的见解值得我们借鉴。

PAN Yue, a scholar in Xijin Dynasty, should not be negated rashly because of his iU-behaviour. With a fragile social status,his pursuit and fortune were changing due to the complicated political struggles during Xijin Dynasty. Therefore ,his longing for a quiet and idle life conveyed in An Ode to a Quiet Life was authentic. A comprehensive analyzing method should be employed to make fair comments on PAN Yue. The arguments of Wenxindiaolong, Review of Poetry and Essay Selectives were good reference for our study.
