改革开放以来,党和国家采取多种优惠政策,从各方面加大对新疆少数民族基础教育的扶持力度,使民族地区的基础教育获得了前所未有的进步;同时,民族地区的基础教育还存在一些不容忽视的问题。我们应该继续加大发展基础教育的宣传力度,强化各级领导干部对教育的责任,以保证基础教育的实效性。
