Experimental Study on Nourishing Kidney and Tonic Yang of Extract of Tongkat Ali

目的探讨Tongkat Ali提取物补肾壮阳的药理学作用。方法用去势手术制备阳虚模型,观察药物对去势大鼠阴茎勃起潜伏期和阴茎、提肛肌、精液囊及前列腺脏器指数的影响。结果Tongkat Ali能显著缩短去势大鼠阴茎勃起潜伏期,增加性器官重量,使去势大鼠阴茎、提肛肌、精液囊和前列腺脏器指数提高。结论Tongkat Ali具有一定的补肾壮阳作用。

Objective To study pharmacological effect of nourishing kidney and tonic yang of Tongkat Ali. Methods To get Yang-deficiency model rat by gonadectomy and to observe the effects on incubation period of penis erection, and the organ index of penis, levator ani muscle, sperm bladders and prostate gland. Results Tongkat Ali was observed to shorten the incubation period of penis erection, to increase the sexual organ weights and the organ index of penis, levator ani muscle, sperm bladders and prostate gland of Yang-deficiency raterats rats. Conclusion Tongkat All has some action for nourishing kidney and tonic yang.
