A Study on Teachers' Colleges' Development Orientation and Its Countermeasures

师范高等专科学校面临着定位不清、发展内涵不足、资源短缺、办学层次低、人才奇缺等问题,同时面临师范本科院校与普通高等院校的双重挤压。为促进学校发展,亟需明确办学思路,合理定位学校发展目标,充分利用外部机会,实现学校可持续、跨越式发展。

Teachers＇ colleges are facing the following problems： uncertain development orientation, deficient development connotation, scarce resources, low level of running school, and short of talents. Besides, they are confronted with the forceful competition from both normal universities and comprehensive universities. Hence, Teachers＇ colleges should clear its schooling thought and set appropriate development objectives. Meanwhile, they should make fall use of opportunities from all sides. Only in this way can teachers＇ colleges realize the goal of sustainable development and leaping development.
