摘要
成人英语学习者在学习动机、学习方法等方面不同于普通高校的英语学习者。在现代远程开放教育理念下,基于建构主义认知理论以及对现有主要英语教学模式的研究和实践,从学生自主学习、面授教学环节设计、教学资源建设、第二课堂的开展和教学评价五个方面对"以学生为主体、教师为主导"的英语教学模式进行探索,以期优化成人英语教学质量,提高学习者的英语应用能力。
Adult English learners have motivation, methods and other features different from English learners in common universities. In accordance with the modem distance open education theories, based on the eonstruetivist cognitive theories and the research on current major English teaching models, the "Students - centered, Teachers - guided" English teaching model is explored from five aspects : students' independent learning, design of face - to - face tutorial procedures, online resource construction, English - involved extracurricular activities and teaching - learning assessment, with an expectation to optimize adult English teaching quality and improve learners' English proficiency.
