With the in-depth study on innovation, more and more people discover that the nature of innovation is a very complicated process. Based on the concept of innovation and the results of other researchers, the paper puts forward a general model of the innovation process, and gives a detailed description for each stage, emphasizing the stages of knowledge selection and innovation matching which are the most important but easily overlooked.
