提出了用等效单自由度体系代替多自由度体系的方法，以便简化计算结构的滞回能与地震输入能，并对多自由度体系及其相应的简化体系进行了能量的计算与比较，所得的两种体系下的能量较好地吻合。

This paper presents a method of mode decomposition, which equivalently substitutes multi-degree-of-freedom with single-degree-of-freedom about the hysteretic energy and seismic input energy. Through the calculation .and comparison with the multi-degree-of-freedom system and its simplified system, a more satisfactory result is clearly gotten. This work provides a convenient approach for calculating the structure's energy, and also provides a useful and practical method of energy for investigating the damage of structure.
