Fluency and swiftness are the rhythm characteristics of Yuefu poems by BaoZhao. This article discusses the causes of the rhythm of Yuefu poems by BaoZhao from three aspects： structure, sentence form, and poem body. It indicates that the rhythm of BaoZhao＇s poems described as fluent and swift is the result of active innovation in these three aspects. The article also points out the literature background in which this kind of creative activity took place.
