《朱子〈论语集注〉初探》一文认为:《论语集注》在注音、释义方面是以唐初陆德明的《经典释文》"为依归"。其实,对于《释文》的注音,《集注》是批判地继承;《朱注》在释《论语》经义时,只是偶尔采取《经典释文》之说,更多的是采择比《经典释文》早的古注、小学类的书的释义以及其它较早文献的解释。

According to The essay A Preliminary Study ofZhu Xi＇s Annotation Analects, the basis of phonetic annotations and meaning interpretations in this book was The Interpretation of Classical Books by Lu Deming of early Tang Dynasty. In point of actuality, ＂Annotation＂ carried on the phonetic annotations of ＂The Interpretations＂ in a critical and cautious manner. The interpretations of Lun Yu in ＂Annotation＂ only occasionally borrowed from ＂The Interpretations＂, and much more the book adopted from ancient annotations, linguistic books and other ancient books earlier than ＂The Interpretations＂.
