膨润土是一种由蒙脱石构成的非金属矿物,具有优良的物化性能。综述了膨润土的基本概况、改性方法及其在废水处理中的主要应用现状;指出简化膨润土制备工艺,进行扩大化生产,积极开发利用新产品,减小对环境的污染将是其发展方向。

With excellent physical and chemical characteristis, bentonite is a kind of nonmetallic mineral consisting of montmorillonite, which has been widely used as environment function material in wastewater treatment. This paper gives an outline of the basic knowledge of bentonite, modifying methods, and its present conditions of wastewater application and its applying prospect is also presented.
