摘要
语言与文化密不可分,而词汇作为语言的基本要素,承载着丰富的文化内涵。因此,词汇教学不能仅仅是传达词汇的概念意义或者是传授学生学习和记忆单词的一些方法,文化差异也是词汇教学的一个重要组成部分。教师应该利用课堂教学的优势,结合教材内容,把词汇文化引入课堂中,培养学生的跨文化意识。
Language and culture are correlated with each other and inseparable. Words, as essential elements of language, have rich cultural meanings. Therefore, in vocabulary teaching, teachers should get students familiar with cultural differences besides conceptual meaning and some ways to memorize words. In the beginning phase of language learning, it is relatively easy to raise pupils'awareness of cultures, so teachers should take advantage of class teaching, combine teaching content, and intro- duce lexical culture into class, to cultivate students'intercultural awareness.
