柳宗元的婚姻问题,由于缺乏史料存在未解之谜。有学者认为其继室为吕氏,不足为据。柳的续聚乃马雷五之姨母,生子女四人,子周六曾进士及第,子周七下落尚不明了。

Due to the lack of historical reference, there exists a puzzle about Liu Zongyuan＇s marriage. Some intellectuals believe that his second wife was Lüshi, but unsupported by evidence. The real second wife of Liu Zongyuan was Ma Leiwu＇s grandaunt, who gave birth to four children, among whom, Zhouliu had passed the imperial examination for Jinshi, while the son Zbouqi＇s whereabouts hasn＇ t been known yet.
