摘要 中国节庆菜谱有其浓浓的文化底蕴,可从中文菜名蕴含的文化意象的角度,结合翻译的语用等效功能,利用等效翻译理论在译语中实现源语文本的交际目的、传达源语交际者的交际动机或者在译语读者身上产生相当于原文在源语读者身上所能产生的交际效果。在翻译实践中,可用直译加注的方式保留原文的形象表达,或仅保留原菜名中文化意象中的一部分的内容,或完全根据其语用功能直译出材料名称,以体现原菜名的神韵。 China has a deep cultural heritage shown on its festive recipes. In accordance with the dynamic context, translation, being a communicative act between different languages and cultures, is a continuous process to achieve equivalent effects on the TL reader. From the perspective of cultural image, combined with translation pragmatic function, this paper endeavors to analyze the culture connotation of festive recipes, and inquires into the methods of translating. In practice, we can vividly embody the verve of the original dish names, by literally translating with adding notes based on its original meaning, or just retaining the original image in a part of the content, or completely literally translating in accordance with its pragmatic function. In a word,the theory of pragmatic equivalence can make some help.
