摘要
图式是人脑中存储知识的框架,已有的知识被分门别类存放其间以供调用。图式理论是指导英语阅读理解的重要理论,它强调读者已有知识,即背景知识对阅读理解的主导作用。根据图式理论,阅读实质上是读者运用背景知识与作者进行"交流"的过程;教师在课堂阅读教学中的任务是激活学生的背景知识,帮助学生获得理解。
Schema is the framework of knowledge in the brain store, which is stored in category for later use. Schema theory is an important guide to English reading comprehension. It emphasizes on the readers' existing knowledge or the background knowledge, which pays the leading role in their reading comprehension. According to schema theory, reading means that readers use the background knowledge to "communicate" with the author. The task of the teachers in the classroom is to teach students to activate the background knowledge and help them understand.
