当前,有利于两岸关系良性互动的因素在增长,两岸关系的负面因素受到相当程度的遏制,为两岸关系发展带来难得的战略机遇期。"和平发展"成为两岸关系的主题。"台独"的失败与美国支持台海地区和平发展的大形势,促成了两岸关系发展的有利氛围。目前,两岸关系已取得了好的开端,但是和平发展之路仍然任重道远,还有很多现实问题需要切实面对。

At present, positive factors on the interaction between the two sides cross the strait are on growth, and negative factors are, to a considerable extent restrained, which has brought a rare strategic opportunity for the development of cross-strait relations. The failure of ＂Taiwan Independence＂ and the support of United States to the peaceful development in the Taiwan Strait created the positive environment for the development of cross-strait relations.
