虽然建筑中材料的透明性似乎已经天然地与玻璃联系在一起,但从历史的角度来看,这只不过是近200年间的事。而在当代建筑学中,新的透明材料的出现以及由加工工艺和建造方式的不同带来的材料透明性的转换,再次打破了透明性与玻璃的单一对应,也提供了前所未有的建筑学可能。致力于探讨当代条件下透明性的材料转换及其对于建筑学实践的影响,认为这一透明度的转换带来了对于空间、结构的多层次表现,为人们创造了丰富而细腻的感官体验,也使建筑有可能越来越远离那种风格化的形式,而转向知觉、感性、效果与体验的世界。

Although today the quality of transparency has been naturally attached to glass such a close relationship has only become true around two hundred years ago On the other hand. progress in the processing technique and innovative construction methods in the contemporary practice have broken this linear correspondence between material and optical characters and brought about unprecedented architectural possibilities This paper is intended to explore this phenomena as well as its influence on architectural practice. it argues that the transformation of transparency in terms of material has greatly enriched expression of space and structure and vested with subtle sensual experiences. It might enable architectural practice to break away from stylistic form-chasing and turn to a world of perception, sensation, atmosphere and experience.
