办学特色是大学适应社会和自身发展的内在要求,准确把握大学办学特色的内涵必须从多视角加以审视。从哲学视角看,办学特色是普遍性和特殊性的统一;从文化学视角来看,办学特色是继承与创新的统一;从生态学视角来看,大学办学必须打破单一性,实行多样性;从教育学视角来看,办学特色既具有工具理性,更具有价值理性。

From the perspective of philosophy, university features are the unity of universality and particularity. From the perspective of culture, university features are the unity of inheritance and innovation. From the perspective of ecology, university must break the unity and implement diversity.
