全面抗战时期的民族复兴思潮是九一八事变以来民族复兴思潮的持续展开与深化,是中国人民对民族与国家出路长期思考与探索的必然反映。在极为严酷的条件下,人们怀着坚定的信念,围绕民族复兴的本质要求和根本途径等重大问题进行了比较深入的思考与讨论;认为民族复兴从根本上说是中华民族精神与民族文化的复兴,弘扬民族文化,吸取西方文化及其现代科学技术,是中华民族及文化复兴的根本要求;还高度评价孙中山先生的三民主义学说和建国思想,誉其为中华民族"惟一复兴的路径"。

The trend of thoughts of national revival during the overall Anti-Japanese War period was the result of the sustained development and deepening of the thought of national revival since the September 18 Incident as well as the lasting meditation and exploration of the Chinese people over the issue of national and state prospect. Under the severe conditions, the people in China, with finn faith in their future, carried out deep thinking and discussions on the important issues of the essence of and fundamental road to national revival. The Chinese people then believed that national revival, in essence, is the revival of Chinas national spirit and culture, and that promoting Chinese culture while absorbing western culture and western modem science and technology is the essential requirement for the revival of Chinese nation and culture. They highly appraised Sung Yat-sen＇s concept of the Three People＇s Principles, i.e. , Nationalism, Democracy and People＇s Livelihood as well as his idea of Chinese construction, deeming them as the ＂only path to revival＂ for the Chinese nation.
