高等职业教育已是高等教育的重要类型，在扩大和发展基层民主上，高职院校同普通高校一样肩负双重重任，随着高职院校管理体制改革的不断深化，高职院校的民主管理工作也越显重要。但是，当前高职院校民主管理工作成效不容乐观，高职院校工会应自觉在高职院校民主管理工作中发挥积极作用。

Higher vocational education is an important type of higher education. In the development and expansion of grass-roots democracy, higher vocational schools have the same responsibilities as universities. With the gradual development of management system in higher vocational schools, the democratic management is much more important. However, current democratic management is not effective. The Union of higher vocational schools should play an active role in democratic management.
