摘要
程抱一先生的《中国诗画语言研究》,运用结构主义和符号分析学理论来分析中国诗歌和绘画,是第一部用西方当代文论来分析中国古典艺术的著作。他的论著和文学作品都是东西方文化交融的结晶,对于促进中法双方文化的交流和繁荣具有重要的意义。
Professor Francois Cheng in his books Chinese poetic writing and Empty and Full, the Language of Chinese Painting, applies the techniques of structuralism and semiology to the analysis of Chinese traditional poetry and painting. These are the first scholarly works applying Western contemporary literary theories to the analysis of Chinese classical arts. Both his essays and literary works result from the dialogue between Eastern and Western cultures and reflect the deep harmony that exists between them. They will no doubt play an important role in promoting cultural exchange and literary creation for beth Chinese and French societies.
