摘要
美国的数学教育全表现在课堂,教学气氛相对活跃而实际水平较低.与美国数学教育相比,中国数学教育的优势主要有:中国小学算术训练要比美国广而强;初中平面几何是训练数学思维能力的沃土,中国学生的初中平面几何基础强于美国学生;中国高中毕业生的数学知识水平比美国高中毕业生高;中国中学生的学习时间比美国学生长,学习的知识比,美国学生深奥;中国学生比美国学生有紧迫感等中国数学教育存在这不同于美国的另一种自我封闭.
Mathematics education in the United States all showed in mathematics class. It had active atmosphere while quite poor effect. In comparison with the American mathematics education, Chinese mathematics education had several advantages: arithmetic training in primary school was much extensive and powerful, Chinese junior high school students' plane geometry base was better than those in the United States; Chinese middle students spent much more time in mathematics learning than American students; and so on. Chinese mathematics education also existed some lacks.
