摘要
使用HFSS高频仿真软件设计了一种宽频带Ku频段波导型正交模(OMT)转换器。正交模转换器采用方波导阶梯阻抗匹配与波导缝隙耦合的设计思想。与传统的圆波导栅片式正交模转换器相比,方波导正交模转换器在结构上具有紧凑、简单、稳定和便于加工的特点,且具有极化隔离度高、频带宽、驻波和插损小等优良的电气性能,在工程应用中取得了良好的效果。
This paper designs a Ku-band ortho-mode transducer (OMT) by using the HFSS simulation software. The ortho-mode transducer adopts the design idea of square waveguide stepped impedance matching and waveguide slot coupling. Compared with the conventional slice OMT, the OMT given in the paper shows a better electronical performance, together with compact, simple and stabile structure. The engineering application shows that it is an effective method.
