摘要 目的探讨Galectin-3、血管内皮生长因子(VEGF)和微血管密度(MVD)在乳腺浸润性导管癌组织中的表达及临床病理意义。方法应用免疫组织化学SP法检测Galectin-3和VEGF在63例乳腺浸润性导管癌组织(乳腺癌组)中的表达,并用CD34免疫组织化学染色计数肿瘤MVD;16例周围正常乳腺组织作对照(对照组)。结果乳腺癌组Galectin-3、VEGF表达阳性率和MVD均显著高于对照组(P均<0.01);Galectin-3、VEGF表达阳性率和MVD与乳腺癌组织学分级、TNM分期和淋巴结转移有关,而与患者年龄、肿瘤直径无明显相关;乳腺癌组Galectin-3和VEGF阳性者MVD明显高于阴性者(P<0.05、0.01),Galectin-3与VEGF表达呈正相关(P<0.01)。结论Galectin-3、VEGF在促进乳腺癌微血管形成中有协同作用;Galectin-3、VEGF和MVD对判断乳腺浸润性导管癌的恶性程度、浸润及转移有重要价值。 Objective To investigate the relation between the expression of Galectin-3 , VEGF and MVD in invasive ductal carcinoma of the breast and analyze its elinicopathological significance. Methods The expression of Galectin-3, VEGF and CD34 in 63 cases of invasive ductal carcinoma and 16 cases of normal breast tissue were examined by immunohistochemistry method. MVD was calculated according to the quantification of positive CD34 expression. Results Galectin-3 and VEGF positive rates and MVD in breast carcinoma group were higher than those in the normal breast group; positive rates of Galeetin-3 and VEGF expressions and MVD in cases with poorly differentiated, stage Ⅲ- Ⅳand lymph node metastasis of invasive ductal carcinoma were significantly higher than those in well-moderately differentiated , stage Ⅰ- Ⅱ and no lymph node metastasis groups ( P 〈 0. 01, 〈 0. 05 ) . However, there were no significant association between Galectin-3, VEGF expression, MVD and patient age and size. MVD in Galectin-3 and VEGF positive groups of breast carcinoma was significantly higher than that in VEGF and Galectin-3 negative groups( P 〈 0. 01, 〈 0. 05 ). Significant correlation was also found between Galectin-3 and VEGF expression(P 〈 0.01 ). Conclusion Galectin-3 and VEGF expression and MVD are useful for evaluating malignancy degree, invasion and metastasis of invasive ductal carcinoma. The interaction between VEGF and Galectin-3 can mediate angiogenesis.
