To emphasize hard news report gradually is one of the successful experience for early Shanghai Journal, which has enhanced its social influence greatly and at the same time provided valuable experience for the development of current city daily, i.e. optimum of news structure, reinforcement of hard news report and realization of transition from soft news oriented to ＂combination of soft and hard＂ for the contents of the report.
