摘要
衔接是连贯的基础,正确运用衔接手段能清晰表达句子之间的语义关系和逻辑关系,达到有效交际的目的。基于韩礼德和哈桑的衔接理论,采用实证研究手段,探讨教授衔知识对实验班写作能力的影响。结果表明,实验班的后测成绩显著高于控制班。衔接知识的传授有利于学生更加明晰写作意图、提高同伴订正和自我修改效率以及增强读者意识,其写作水平也因而得到明显提升。
As the basis of coherence, properly adopted cohesive devices contribute to the semantic and logical relationship of a text so that a reader can communicate effectively with his readers. Based on Halliday and Hassan's Cohesion Theory, an empirical study is carried out to explore the feasibility of the application of the theory in improving English writing teaching. The result shows that Experimental Class statistically outscores Control Class in the posttest. The teaching of cohesion knowledge enables students to be more explicit in their writing purpose, more efficient in peer and self revision, and more conscious of their readers.
