摘要
英语语言中的性别歧视现象是语言学的一个重要课题,性别歧视在词汇层次上体现得最为突出,涉及面亦是最为广泛。从标记理论和标记象似性角度探讨英语性别歧视词汇的特征,从而揭示其社会性根源。
Sexism in English language remains one of the important topics in linguistics. Starting from marked theory, the article approaches the issue from the perspective of marked iconicity in order to probe into the features of sexism in English language, so as to reveal its social origin.
