Strengthening ideological and political construction of national defense students is an important aspect of education at colleges and universities, It＇ s also the political guarantee for adapting to the developing situations of the society and the army and improving the training quality of national defense students. It＇ s essential for us to analyze the outstanding problems of college students＇ ideological and political construction carefully and hold the characteristic firmly for fostering national defense students; to unify the thought in light of the innovative theory of the Party in order to ensure the correct direction of national defense students＇ ideological and political construction; to educate students with the scientific method and try to form an ideological and political construct/on system which unifies succession with innovation; to expand the resource construction by focusing on superiority and make great efforts to build a long-term effective mechanism for ideological and political construction of national defense students.
