摘要 “中国的机会太大了!如何让我们公司的成长和中国保持同步,甚至超过公司预期的增长速度,是我经常苦苦思索的问题。”在北京奥运会开幕后的8月9日,GE公司中国区总裁兼CEO、GE副总裁罗邦民(Mark Norbom)在北京奥林匹克公园内的GE创想中心接受“经理人》专访时说。其美轮美奂的GE创想中心以金、木、水、火、土五行为主题进行布局,分别展现了GE公司的交通运输、风力发电、水处理、 'We pay highly attention to R&D and innovation, but the entire process should be localized', said LUO Bangmin, China area president and CEO of GE, 'The most important way of research and development is to communicate with our sales department and be familiar with the need of our clients and market. Our goal is to make China become the second home out of America.' But there exists great difference between Chinese market and other markets, thus on the one hand, GE make international advanced new products and technology applied in China, meanwhile, develop new products according to the demand of Chinese markets and manufacture locally by making use of Chinese capital advantage; on the other hand, explore the development strategy from big cities of littoral to middle-west and north east area to popularize the products to wider district.
