农民工生活状况、工资水平及公共服务：对北京、广州、南京、兰州的调查

Living Condition,Wage level and Public Service Access of Farmer-truned Migrant Workers:Investigation into Beijing,Guangzhou,Nanjing,Lanzhou

利用国家统计局2004年对31个省(市、区)的69000个农村住户和7100多个行政村的外出务工人员调查资料,以及项目组2007年在广州、北京、南京、兰州4城市的问卷调查数据和在广州、亳州和西安等地的实地调研情况,对近年来农民工总体特征及贫困状况、收入水平变动、农民工子女的教育问题、农民工在城市中的医疗保健和住房状况等进行考察和分析。结果表明,现阶段我国农民工面临着严重的贫困问题。必须采取进一步的政策措施,为农民工的生存发展提供更好的保障和服务,提高其生活水平,促进社会公平和社会和谐发展。

We take use of the survey that National Bureau of Statistics of China has made on the migrant works from 69000 households and 7100 villages in 31 provinces, and the data we have investigated in Guangzhou, Beijing, Nanjing and Lanzhou in 2007, and the practical investigation in Guangzhou, Bozhou and Xi＇an. With these surveys and data, we analyze the general features of farmers-turned migrant workers and their poor condition, income change, children＇s education. The outcomes shows they are facing serious obstacles of poverty currently. We have to take measures to provide better ensurance and service for their living and development, enhance their living condition, promote social equality and social harmonious development.
