Classification and Analysis of Information Sources under ATM Environment

文章对ATM环境下的主要业务信源进行了归类,主要分为5类:语音业务(Audio)、数据(Data)、传真(Fax)、图像(Image)和视频业务(Video).然后就它们的应用、带宽要求、时延要求以及目前的标准等方面进行了详细的阐述,在对这些信源特性分析和认识的基础上,实现在ATM环境下对它们的有效控制.

The information sources under ATM environment are classified into five categories, namely voice, data, fax, image and video services. Then their applications, bandwidth requirements, time delay requirements and current standards are described in detail. Only based on the analysis and understanding of these information sources'characteristics, the efficient control of them under ATM environment may be realized.
