Reform in Retrospect: For Better Reform——In Commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of Reform and Opening Up and the 190th Birthday of Karl Marx

中国改革开放30年来取得了举世瞩目的巨大成就。改革的探索性和阶段性以及改革引发的社会矛盾:贫富矛盾、贪官和百姓矛盾、人和资源环境矛盾,要求我们反思改革,敢于面对问题、分析原因、调整政策,总结改革经验,使改革更完美。"反思"改革决不是"反对"改革,而是为了更好地改革与发展。

For 30 years since the introduction of the reform and opening up policy, China has scored great achievements that have attracted world attention. The exploratory nature and stages of reform and social contradictions it has triggered, between rich and poor, between corrupted government officials and common people and between human beings and resources and the environment, requires us to rethink about it, facing up to the problems, analyzing reasons, readjusting policies, so as to summarize lessons and perfect it. ＂Rethinking＂ about reform is by no means ＂objecting＂ to it, but for better reform and development.
