哈蟆油具有抗衰老作用属首次发现，１００ ｇ果蝇培养基中加哈蟆油分别为６８，３４ ｍｇ，均可延长果蝇平均寿命．哈蟆油喂饲 ４０天的果蝇在－５℃低温环境下的存活率较 ＮＳ组增加了 １１．９％～１６．１％，脂褐质含量下降１０．４％～ １５．５％．小白鼠灌服哈蟆油６８０， ３４０ ｍｇ·ｋｇ~－１·ｄ~－１×７，使小鼠肝、脑过氧化脂质含量下降，升高血浆ＳＯＤ的活性．

Oviductus ranae at the dose of 68,34 mg·100 g^-1 of cultture medium markedly prolonged the mean life span of drosphila metanogaster. The life span of drosphila metanogaster fed at the same dose for 40 days in hypotemperature -5℃ was increased by 11.9 %~ 16.1 % than normal solution, and the lipofuscin level was decreased by 10.4 % ~ 15.5%. The level of superoxide dismutas of serum was increased and the lipoperoxids of liver and brain were decreased in mice by administration of oviductus ranae at the dose of 680,340 mg·kg^-1·~d-1×7 (po).
