文章阐明情报和信息不能等同和相互取代;指出了我国科技情报工作改革实践过程中的一些误区。作者认为,术语的不准确和混乱反映了学科理论上的不成熟和在科学问题上的不严肃性。科技情报机构应该重视长远目标的实施和追求,加强基础工作,紧紧围绕信息资源开发这个主战场,找准自己的位置和坐标,弄清自己的使命与功能,避免进入误区。

The paper points out informaton can't equal to or replace. It also discusses and points out some error ideas of our Sciences Technology Information working reform practice. The inaccurate confusing of term inflects the juvenility of subject theory and the seriouslessness of science problem. The Science Technology Information institutes should pay attention to the implement and chasing of long term object, enhance the basic working, tightly surrounding the main field of information resource development, find their own place and corrdinate, understand their own mission and function, avoid falling into some error ideas.
