标识实用性因素的探讨

A Approach to Practicability Factors of Identification

本文在标识缩小法则的基础上,对标识的实用性进行了探讨。指出影响标识实用性的三个决定性因素是:构成标识的符号应有自然顺序;构成标识的符号系列应有合适的个数;标识的位数应合适。同时提出,不满足标识实用性三个决定性因素的标识进行存贮和检索时需进行必要的转换。转换可手工进行,也可利用先进的技术和设备进行。转换后的标识,依然受其实用性三个决定性因紊的制约。

On the base of the principle of index abridgment, the paper discusses the practicability of indexes, and points out three critical factors impacting the practicability of indexes. The signs composing the indexes should have a nature sequence. The number of the sign sequence composing the indexes should be suitable. The digit number of indexes should be suitable. The indexes that do not satisfy these three factors have to implement necessary transform when doing storage and retrieval. The transformation can be done by hand or by advance technology and devices. The indexes transformed still limited by those three factors.
