The phenomenon of nonresponse in a sample survey reduces the precision of parameter estimates and causes the bias. The double sampling scheme have been developed to compensate for these effects with lower expenditure. When there are missing data in the second phase, two-phase sampling doesn＇t work well. Some measures to remedy subsample nonresponse are taken.
