摘要
瓜是雅俗、也是南北共赏的题材。所谓“瓜”，自古以来是指甘瓜、果瓜，亦即甜瓜，虽然在辽代壁画里已经出现了放在果盘上面的西瓜，但它是描绘生活场景，作为装饰题材，甘瓜几乎是一枝独秀的。
