图书馆信息服务效益论辩

Reflections on the Benefits of Information Service at Libraries

针对图书馆信息服务能够产生社会、经济效益的现行理论，提出了与之并行的第三种效益，即自身效益；从图书馆发展的历史现状和其它方面，多角度地论证了这种效益的存在，并阐明了认识和确立这种效益的重要意义。

Abstract On the basis of the existing theory that the library′s information service can bring about social and economic beneficial results, advances the third benefit—self benefit. The paper describes this benefit from the library′s history and present situation in every aspects, and expounds the importance of the understanding and establishment of this benefit.
