在马克思主义史上先后出现过三面旗帜：马克思恩格斯、列宁、毛泽东。邓小平理论作为现时代和新世纪的旗帜，是由其在马克思主义史上的历史地位、时代特色和划时代贡献决定的，它是当代中国的马克思主义，是马克思主义在中国发展的新阶段。因此，只有既从一脉相承又不断创新的马克思主义历史中、又结合当代社会主义实践的历史经验和我国的实际来学习邓小平理论，才能把这一理论学深，学透，学好。

AbstractThere have been three banners in the history of Marxism:Marx Engels,Lenin Mao Zedong,and Deng Xiaoping.It it its historical position in the history of Marxism,its characteristics of the time,and its significant contribution that makes Deng Xiaoping's theory a banner of Marxism in the modern society and in the new century.Deng's theory marks a new stage of development of Marxism in the Chinese context.To acquire profound understanding of DengXiaoping's theory we must examine closely the history of Marxism,emphasizing elements of both inheritance and innovation. At the same time,attention should be drawn to the reality of China.
