市井文化作为一种文化现象渗透于《西游记》之中,含蓄地表达出来,从而影响着其所表达的现实意义。通过《西游记》的历史由来、人物的塑造和构建等方面探询市井文化对作品的这一影响并对作品的主旨进行探索性地分析。

As many other fair tales, the Journey to the West, full of illusive plots and complex change of time and space background, embodying deep real meaning, was inspired from pop culture of its own time which can be found impliedly expressed in it with a great influence to its meaningful content. This article focuses and launches researches on the above- mentioned influence as well as the target meaning of the Journey to the West from the view of history background, figure creation and design and other aspects sourced from pop culture.
